Aaxon has been proactive in reducing the environmental impact of our service and collection vehicles by replacing its fleet of service vehicles with smaller 2.6 liter engines, and a different rear-end gear ratio. This has resulted in at least a 27% improvement in mileage, or a savings of thousands of gallons of gasoline every year. Additional savings and environmental benefits will be realized when plans are completed to convert all service vehicles to natural gas. Aaxon has added efficiency, by developing intelligent fleet routing, and by executing a comprehensive scheduling and technologically advanced service response system.
